Stargazing Through the Trees
elva
While the absence of leaves may not make for the most beautiful forest-scape, at night the bare branches provide a rare, unobstructed view of the starry nighttime sky. Capturing the feel of those celestial sparklers, seven strands of pewter beads, upon closer look, reveal themselves to be small stars. A gilt porcelain brooch (c.1900) displays a woodland scene reminiscent of the wintery woods we like to visit. A vintage brass hook completes the 17.5” tonal look at back.
