Her Own Way
Elva Fields
She goes her own way, without a doubt paving a memorable path through her remarkable life. This not-for-the-gal-who-blends-in number certainly makes its mark with hand-carved pendants of ombré-hued opal in lilac and hottest pink. Between each opal is a trio of tiny glass beads from the Yoruba tribe of West Africa, antique beauties in green from the late 19th century. Bringing it all together is a vintage glass buckle from Czechoslovakia with gilt decoration, at once luxe and playful and allowing two looks in one depending on where the buckle is worn around the neck. An independent gal loves her choices, no? Measures 18" length.
