Clover Chain

At nearly 100 years old, these green glass gems are in remarkable condition and still feel entirely fresh and ready for stylish adventures. Crafted by hand in Germany in the 1930s, their marbled design in gorgeous green suggests a favorite stone: malachite, and their lobed shape hints at a lucky clover. Linked together (we added brass loops at their backs to connect a set of 11 of these wonderful finds) they're a clover chain of stunning style and sophistication...and maybe even bringing a bit of luck, certainly compliments to the wearer. A 14 karat gold filled hook clasps the necklace at back, measuring an adjustable 16 to 18" in overall length. (For reference, each "clover" measures just over 1" diameter.)
Note: Because each gem is made of glass, this necklace will require very special handling and care. The gems arrived to us from The Netherlands with a few chips and dings at their back edges - an indication of their vast experience in life at almost 100 years of age - but still make a marvelous design and will last for years to come if cared for properly.
