Rather than being staid, we find charm in tradition as five strands gather in pretty plaid.  (Perhaps the pink hue has something to do with the effect!) Rare beauties we hadn't seen in years, we stumbled upon these glass beads at market recently, and we reveled in the find.  Hailing from Ghana, the strands seemed a perfect perch for a pair of vintage rhinestone bow brooches...an altogether feminine, flirty, and fun fashion that all but bats its eyelashes.  An adjustable clasp at back (vintage, no less!) allows lengths from 18.5 to 20" overall.
