This daisy chain is a decadent delight, a vintage jeweled trio of blooms linked and lovely and maybe originally part of a belt buckle. Each flower's petal is a colorful faceted glass gem, inspiring a colorful backdrop of beads. Called "leftover" beads in their native Ghana, the flat doughnut-like shaped beads are crafted from small striped glass beads that are left over from previous productions and are then melted into this new, larger bead style. If you look closely, you can see the smaller striped beads (red and yellow) within each rich royal blue disc. All together, it's a joyful gathering, all along for the ride wherever it takes them. A gilt copper hook clasps the strands at back at a longer flattering length of 22" overall.
