Here comes the sun, and we couldn't be happier about it! Bask in its resplendent rays all year long with this vintage horse brass pendant. Originally suspended from a horse's leather bridle to ensure a successful harvest (which is likely the reason for the sun symbolism) the ornament now becomes a beautiful reminder of warmth, beauty, and bounty. (And we not-so-secretly adore the tiny circle of stars embossed at the center of the sun...look closely--it's so wonderful!) The mottled, speckled, swirl of pattern and color in the African glass beads are delightful, and a faceted brass bead from India between each continues the golden glam throughout the longer-length necklace. A gilt copper toggle fastens this fantastic look at 25" in length.
