Oh, sweet pea, you're the sweetest of all; how precious as pearls and so dear and lovely. We're still swooning over finding this favorite at a flea market recently--we've been adoring this vintage design by Trifari for years, but hadn't ever found one until now. (The discovery was sweet, indeed!) A row of tiny costume pearls lines the opening of an etched goldtone metal pea pod, and we simply delight in the details of the pod's realistic shape and texture, and the curling stem atop is just the touch of whimsy we cherish in costume jewelry. The only fitting pairing for such a gem were strands of freshwater pearls, echoing the simple beauty of the peas. A gilt copper clasp brings the look together with a touch of golden at back. Measures 18" in length.
