Necklace
Elva Fields
With a mark on the interior of the gold-filled locket (a charming bee stamp) indicating it was designed and manufactured by R.B. MacDonald & Co. in Attleboro, MA sometime between 1874 and 1922 (likely from the late 19th century or early 20th) this antique gem is a treasure. A fleur-de-lis is engraved at the locket's front, with small diamond chips decorating its finials, and it opens to reveal two spots for a special memento or photograph inside. The 1" locket suspends from a gilt brass beaded chain and measures from 17 to 18" in length.
