The carved and polished agate bead at front center of this straightforwardly stylish design was created by hand in Africa over 150 years ago, and we kind of can't wrap our minds around the incredible history that must be ingrained in its stony story; the experiences it has had along the way. Here, we paired it with hand-wrought brass saucer beads from Mali in a look that is elegant, simple, and stunning all at once. A gilt copper toggle clasp fastens the strand at back, measuring 22" in length overall.
