When gathering the goods for this design, contrast and balance seemed to be key: the vibrant hues of the faceted jade beads felt best tempered by tiny faceted black crystal beads, and the richly-sparkling rhinestones of the vintage flower brooch become brightened by their dark, japanned settings. And isn't that so much like life? It's a mixed bag of highs and lows, and we can often only appreciate the best days because we've had a few that weren't so wonderful. Highs and lows, and this one's along for it all. A silvered copper hook clasps the necklace at back, measuring 18" length at its shortest strand.
