She is full of measured grace, and we fell in love with her instantly when a friend brought her to us as part of a collection of vintage pieces from her family's local business that deals with estates and fine jewelry. (Fun fact: our grandfathers were both local business owners starting in the 1940s and 50s and knew one another long before we did!) Hand carved in palest pink coral, she is effortlessly elegant, and we used 14 karat gold-filled wires to turn her into a beautiful pendant, paired with hand-painted porcelain beads and tiny polished coral beads in a single-strand necklace. The classic blue and white design feels polished-yet-playful among the pale pink beads, and a gilt copper clasp fastens the necklace at a flattering 25" length. (Pendant itself measures 2.5" length, full of detail and stunning craftsmanship.)
