The beads are known as "leftover" beads in their native Africa, called so because each is composed of several tiny colorful beads that were left over from previous designs and then melted together to form these larger, ring-like beads. Look closely and you'll see stripes and spots, all from these smaller beads that created the larger ones! The vintage brooch is in beautiful condition and adds a hint of glamour to these joyful strands, while a silvered copper toggle clasps the necklace at a longer, flattering length of 24.5", shortest strand.
