Some of our all-time favorite beads ever, these antique glass "snake vertebrae" beads from Africa are getting harder and harder to find, so when a set of four strands came up for sale recently, we hopped at the chance to snag them. Their zig-zag pink and blue combination is eye-catching and fun, and the tiny bit of yellow at the end of one strand adds whimsy and unexpected joy to the arrangement. Carrying on the triangular play on shape and pattern, we couldn't help but add this diamond-shaped Art Deco rhinestone belt buckle as the strands' clasp, lending some sparkly glam to the vibrant color happening here. The necklace's longer length of 21" is universally flattering, and versatility abounds as the buckle may be worn at the side in its glittering glory or at the back of the neck if the beads want to be the main event. Either way, it's a look that will catch eyes and compliments.
