I was thrilled to find this vintage brooch and earrings set at auction earlier this summer; I'd never - in 20 years of vintage adventures - stumbled upon a faux-bois floral design. The wood grain patterning of the petals is all the more glamorous with a golden backing, and set at the side of rarer-than-ever hand-wrought brass beads from Mali, the whole look is a nod to laid-back beauty that can be dressed up, down, and everywhere in-between. Measures 17.5" length with gilt copper toggle clasp.
